How to add Stream Countdowns to OBS and change their color?

Countdowns are a great way to show your viewers how much time is left to stream’s start. Adding them to your stream for the first time might be hard, but no worries!

We are going to show how to add stream countdowns to your stream and change their color using OBS.

1. Under the “Sources” section, click on the “+” sign and select “Media Source”.

2. Enter the name of the Media Source (Optional) and click “OK”.

3. Click “Browse” in the “Local File” section and select the countdown (WebM file).

4. Turn off “Loop” and click “OK”.

5. Resize the countdown to your liking.

6. Right-click on the countdown media source in the “Sources” section, and select “Filters”.

7. Click “+”, select “Color Correction” and click “OK”.

8. Select “Select Color” in the “Color Multiply” section and select the color of your choice.

9. Click “OK” then “Close”.

  • Click “Browse” in the “Local File” section and select the countdown (WebM file).
  • Turn off “Loop” and click “OK”.
Resize the countdown to your liking.

  • Right-click on the countdown media source in the “Sources” section, and select “Filters”.
Click "+", select "Color Correction" and click "OK".
  • Click “+”, select “Color Correction” and click “OK”.
Select "Select Color" in the "Color Multiply" section and select the color of your choice.
  • Select “Select Color” in the “Color Multiply” section and select the color of your choice.
  • Click “OK” then “Close”.
